Incorrect calculation of distance (Nokia E52) Options · View

Somehow Smart Runner calculates the distance of the track approx 40% more than the real distance on my Nokia E52 (Symbian 3rd Edition).

When uploaded to the website, the track looks ok on the map, but the shown distance does not match with the shown track.
Further, the calculation of average speed, etc is not correct either.

Any suggestions what is going wrong?
