Hi, I'm using Firefox/Shiretoko 3.5.3 and sadly cannot see any tracks in the Bing view, instead it defaults to somewhere around Leipzig/Germany, which is quite some distance from my actual location, Aachen/Germany. The track does not show up there as well, though... A Friend, using Firefox 3.5.8 can see my tracks just fine though... Is this a known problem?

Thanks for you post! This issue is unkown yet. May you send me the link to the track(s). If you don't want to do this here, just send me a PM. I remember a similar problem appeared more than 1 year ago - maybe this is based on the same reason. We will check this soon!

May you post a screenshot of this? It's interesting to me to see the map and chart. Are you able to see a planned track at http://www.bing.com/maps/ ?

Bing Maps claims my browser is not supported (It's a Gentoo build of Firefox without branding, so it identifies as "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20091128 Gentoo Shiretoko/3.5.3 FirePHP/0", their sniffing must rely on the wrong part of the UA :-) This should not at all affect the display though. The Flash-Plugin is the official Adobe one v10.0 r32), and I can request and see a route in my area: http://www.robertkosten.de/misc/bing.pngMy tracks however, only look like this (No elevation/speed chart at all): http://www.robertkosten.de/misc/smartrunner.pngThe trackid, according to the url is 6014ec57-31cb-450e-90d8-9d57fb6f610b, the track itself is http://www.robertkosten.de/misc/Route_2010_03_23.gpxYes, I'm aware that I usually only let "friends" see this, but in this case, I don't mind ;-)

May you try to set the value at the about:config of your firefox from "general.useragent.extra.firefox" to "Firefox/3.5"? does that change anything?

Yep, it works that way... Leave it to Microsoft to use user-agent sniffing at all AND getting it wrong/broken. *sigh* Thanks :-)
If there's some kind of bing developer feedback system in place you should probably tell them...
