Hi all, the new version of SmartRunner for Palm webOS has been published in App Catalog. It can be downloaded from http://developer.palm.co...eid=com.smartrunner.app or directly from the device. The following changes had been done: v1.0.4: - stabilization of the gps signal - audio signal und vibration signal when gos fixed or lost - warning message if there is no gps signal - bugfix: turn display of Have fun, cheers Rollek

very nice. fixed the issues I experienced in 1.0.3.
quick question: how is caloric output calculated in the application? and what does it allow for?

Hi Rollek,
I downloaded SR v 1.0.4 a few days ago, and since I cannot use it.
Platform: PALM PRE v 1.4.1
When I load the SR app, I'm prompted to :
1- accept the terms
2- login (me credentials are already memorized
3- When I touch «login» , It goes into... connecting (for 2 sec) and then «Network error»
Can you suggest any remedy ?

LWI Hello again, I discoverered that I also had trouble with the App Catolog not connecting.... I did a partial reset on the phone... and SR now works fine. Thanks LWI

hi LWI, hi all,
please restart your palm pre after installing v1.0.4. This may help to solve some issues with gps connection.

Dear all,
we refined the gps modul. Version 1.0.5 is on the way. The gps will work better afterwards. Strangely enough, it always did on our 3 devices. Unfortunatelly, not on every device out there as you may have recognized in some comments. Version 1.0.5 should be released at the end of this week.

I restarted my phone but still same issues I re-installed the app and now it is actually showing track history
the problems I have had with this curent version are
1. no track history
2. gps wrong
3. timmer ketp restarting
re- installed now issues are
1. track history is there but uploading does not complete
3. gps is its ok to a point the other day I actually pulled a "GOD" and accros the top of a lake
I hope these issues where adressed in this new version coming out

Thanks! yes I have downloaded the new version and everything seems back to normal now i ran this morning and everything worked out I was able to upload with no problem and gps worked great!
Tanks so much for all your hard work!!!
P.S. any way of posting premium prices in U.S. dollars

Hi, Rollek; 1.0.4 really helped with the GPS issue, as did uploading the latest version of WebOS from Palm.
One question: the calorie calculator no longer seems to be adding up calories in the same way. Previously, a 5-mile walk would show me burning over 500 calories; today it said I burned 97. What's up, and is that an error that is being fixed in 1.0.5?

I have the new version 1.0.5 and I completely lost the GPS . I turn it off and on, restarted, delete the application and reinstalled.
Same problem, GPS works great with other applications.

I've had the same problem. It worked the first two days. The past 2 weeks it's not been getting the GPS signal. Have I done something wrong or is it not working anymore in the Southeast U.S.?
