Bought and installed the premium version yesterday, and love the maps. For some reason though a voice starts speaking in German. It sounds like he's saying the time elapsed although I am not sure. Is there a way to shut this off? I prefer listening to music or podcasts while running.

I'm having the same problem as Josh. I just purchased and installed the premium version as well. Please advise on how to change the language settings.

Here too..and it's like every 5 seconds.. I don't see (couldn't find) any sounds files other than notify.wav, is this coming via the internet connection?

I noticed this same issue with the new SmartRunner Premium app update. The update fixed the data sync issue, but added the voice that the OP refers to. I also notice that it speaks every 5-10 seconds, and it sounds like it is talking about time (I don't speak German). Even with the sound off in the preferences menu, the voice is still audible.

So is this propaganda? kidding but i am having the same problem i switched back to the old version but would like to have the premium back so i can see the awesome charts and maps. HURRY.

I used smartrunner most of the summer and thought it was a nice tool, so when I saw the premium version 1.0.7 I decided it was worth buying. However now that it speaks to me during a run it eats up even more battery power then it use to. After an hour run the 2/3rds of the battery is gone. The added features are great but the voice needs to go.

Yes no more speaking and much better battery life during the run to.

Hi All,
we fixed the issue with the voice on server side. However, there will be a new version v1.0.8 coming out soon. My apology.
BTW: The voice feature will be added in one of the future versions of smartrunner, but reasonable and in YOUR language of cause. Sorry again.
