About SmartRunner
So far it has only been possible to stay informed about one’s speed and traveled
distance on an exercise machine or at the gym and it becomes even more difficult
when running in the great outdoors. This is where SmartRunner provides remedy.
SmartRunner consists of two components: a mobile application and a website.
GPS (global positioning system) makes it possible to record an athlete’s motion
during training. The only thing needed is a phone with SmartRunner software installed.
Already during training information such as speed, calorie consumption, traveled
distance and time required become available. Back home after running data can be
analyzed and evaluated on the computer or experiences can be discussed through the
SmartRunner-community website.
